# Accessibility statement

We want CTC Finder to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, zoom or a phone in a truck cab.

## What we do

- We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
- Pages use real headings, labeled form fields and links, and a "skip to content" link for keyboard users.
- The layout adapts from phone screens to large monitors and supports browser zoom.
- The site works without JavaScript except for list filters and ZIP search; every tester is also reachable through the county and city pages.
- Every page has a plain-text Markdown version (add `index.md` to the page address), which some assistive tools read more easily.

## Known limits

Some tester data comes from CARB's list as entered by testers, so names and addresses can be inconsistent. Social sharing images contain text that is also on the page.

## Tell us about a problem

If something on the site is hard to use, email hello@ctcfinder.com with the page address and what went wrong. We aim to reply within 5 business days and can send the information you need in another format.
