These terms apply to CTC Finder ("we"), at ctcfinder.com. By using the site you agree to them.
What the site is
CTC Finder is an independent directory of Clean Truck Check testers. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) or any government agency. We do not test vehicles, register vehicles in CTC-VIS, collect CARB fees or issue compliance results.
Information is not legal advice
Tester details come from CARB's public tester list and from testers themselves. Guides summarize CARB rules with links to the official sources. Rules, deadlines and fees change, and listings can be out of date. Confirm details with the tester and with CARB before you rely on them. Nothing on this site is legal or compliance advice.
Testers and their services
Testers are independent businesses. We do not recommend, employ or guarantee any tester, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a tester. Prices shown are ranges from testers' published prices, not quotes.
Featured and paid listings
- "Featured" listings are paid placements and are always labeled. Featured spots are limited to 3 per city page, in order of purchase.
- Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed in US dollars through Stripe, our payment processor. They renew each month until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time by emailing hello@ctcfinder.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds follow our refund policy.
- We may decline or remove a paid listing that is not a CARB-credentialed tester, that contains false or misleading information, or that breaks these terms. If we remove a paid listing for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the unused part of the period.
- Featured spots per city are limited and placement among featured listings can change.
Quote requests
The quote form is free for truck owners. When you send it, you ask us to pass your request to up to 3 testers near you, who may call, text or email you about it. Testers set their own prices; we do not guarantee that any tester replies, their price or their work. Testers may pay us for receiving requests (the Leads plan or a per-request fee); a request is still sent to at most 3 testers. Send requests only for vehicles you own or manage.
Information you send us
If you claim or update a listing, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that business and that the information is accurate. You let us publish the business details you send (not your personal contact details unless you ask us to). See our privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape the site in a way that harms its performance, submit false information, or use the site for anything unlawful. The "Listed on CTC Finder" badge may be used only by listed testers.
No warranty and limit of liability
The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed compliance deadlines or penalties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may update these terms; the date below shows the latest version.
